Join the New Jersey Department of Health (DOH) for a discussion of updated and new developments related to survey requirements, CMS policies and other regulatory matters in what is an ever-changing and challenging environment. Both COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 topics and trends will be addressed.

Speakers:

Kiisha Johnson BSN RN

Bio: Kiisha Johnson is the Program Manager for the Assisted Living Facilities, Dementia Care Homes, and Adult and Pediatric Medical Day Cares. As Program Manager, Kiisha is responsible for ensuring that the provider types are following the state licensure regulations. Kiisha Johnson began her nursing career as a Certified Nurse Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Registered Nurse. Kiisha earned her Associates Degree in Applied Science from Mercer County Community College. She was also the valedictorian of that graduating class. Kiisha earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Immaculata University located in Immaculata, Pennsylvania, where she was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society.  Kiisha has been employed by the New Jersey Department of Health division of Health Facilities Evaluation and Field Operations for 17 years.

Sophie Xyloportas

Sophie Xyloportas, R.N., Going on 15 years within the Department of Health, is currently a Supervisor of Inspections for LTC, Health Facilities Survey and Field Operations. Responsible for the management and oversight of all Federal Recertification & State Survey and Certification Activities, for all licensed and certified Health Care Facilities.

Cynthia Dunn, RN

Cynthia Dunn, R.N., has been with the Department of Health for almost 25 years, and is currently a Supervisor of Inspections for LTC, Health Facilities Survey and Field Operations. Cynthia is responsible for the management and oversight of all Federal Recertification & State Survey and Certification Activities, for all licensed and certified Health Care Facilities.
