            The position of ASSISTANT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR at the New Jersey Firemen’s Home (Home) will involve an assortment of office management affairs to aid the Office Administrator.  The position would involve banking transactions, process accounts payable/receivable, manage new admissions to the Home, personnel matters, inventory accounting, and assisting the Office Administrator in tasks as may arise.

The Assistant Office Administrator will receive enrollment in the Home medical benefit plan and the State Pension Plan.


  • Office Management experience
  • Strong organizational and leadership ability
  • Communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe and general computer knowledge
  • Financial knowledge – banking.

The Assistant Office Administrator reports to the Office Administrator and Superintendent of the New Jersey Firemen’s Home.
