Business Development Manager – Virtual Programming

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER FOR VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING – PARKER LIFE

Reporting to the Director of Business Development and Technology Innovation, the Business Development Manager for Virtual Programming (MVP), a one-year consulting position with a possibility of being extended, will partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide overall development and support to enhance the participant experience, and oversee research opportunities, content development, and new and expanded market opportunities. The MVP will create a business plan to include detailed products/services, market mix and analysis, virtual program staffing structure and growth plan, and financial analysis and projections.

The MVP will partner with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to, HCBS Administrator, HCBS Program Directors, CIO, IT staff, clinical leadership, platform vendor(s), external content providers, and others as needed to:

•oversee strategies to expand virtual programming platform for existing home and community-based services

•support and provide direction to identify needs and research opportunities

•support and oversee content development for identified audiences

•explore market opportunities and build out programming to service new audiences/markets •support and enhance the participant experience through continued exploration of platform opportunities and upgrades

Project Management

•Responsible for initial project management, program build, launch, ongoing support and program improvement, and transition to operations

•Liaison with CIO and IT team to translate business requirements, support user-acceptance testing, assess and suggest new features and functionalities as identified

•Collaborate across multiple disciplines to identify, address, and resolve program risks and issues and gain alignment on needed decisions to ensure work is progressing according to plan

•Collaboration with stakeholders to identify and support needed changes to workflow, processes, and policies

•Develop, track and report on project metrics, including timelines, milestones, finances, resources, user stories and use cases, and communication plans

•Training and Support

•Identify need and coordinate education/training opportunities for a variety of stakeholders

•Serve as virtual programming subject matter expert and demonstrate platform to stakeholders for training, education, and feedback

•Develop and execute adoption and sustainability plans to drive and influence continuous improvement and adoption

•Provide transition support to operational stakeholders to enable sustainability

•Liaison with CIO and IT team for data analytics needs and provide analysis of data for project evaluation

 

Skills/Requirements

•5+ years’ experience in home and community-based programs or related field, content/curriculum development, and familiarity with payment sources

•Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

•Project management and leadership skills necessary to influence and drive adoption

•Some knowledge in application software, systems, and technologies helpful but not required

•Strong organizational skills to determine workload priorities to enable timely completion of tasks and projects

•Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure with minimal direction

•Master’s degree preferred but not required

The candidate must be highly independent with capacity to work with little supervision. This position is a remote-work opportunity with some, but limited need, for on-site presence at Parker at the Pavilion located in Piscataway, NJ. Some travel to and work from homes and local community sites participating in projects may be required.
