Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who has experience in long term care to join our team. This positions oversees all financial operations, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and providing financial leadership to our organization, while also contributing to strategic planning and financial health to ensure Daughters of Israel’s success in the future.
Duties
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
- Lead treasury management activities, including cash flow management and investment strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Oversee revenue cycle management to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role in a long term care environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll management, regulatory reporting, financial analysis, treasury management, business analysis, supply chain dynamics, mergers & acquisitions, revenue cycle management, and risk analysis.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; an MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
