Infection Preventionist – Village Point in Monroe Township

Village Point in Monroe Township, NJ is seeking an Infection Preventionist. The IP is responsible for identifying, investigation, monitoring and reporting healthcare associated infections in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern such programs and as may be directed by the DON, LNHA and Infection Control Committee to ensure that an effective infection prevention and control program is maintained at all times. The IP collaborates with teams and individuals to create and sustain infection prevention strategies and provide feedback.
Qualified candidates will have a degree in public health, epidemiology, microbiology, clinical laboratory science or related field, specialized training in infection control and 3 years experience in health care or infection control.
Preferred: RN or LPN license.
Village Point is a 120 bed rehabilitation and health care center featuring a sub-acute neighborhood, a memory care neighborhood and two long term care neighborhoods. We are located on 55+ beautifully landscaped acres in Monroe Township, NJ and we share our campus with Monroe Village.
