Please join us at the special Summer Housing and Service Coordinator Training to discuss SeniorNet programs and initiatives (as well as their benefits)\, including the LEAP Program which is funded through the Centre for Aging and Brain Health Innovation (CABHI) in Toronto\, Canada. Bevi will also share how SeniorNet can open communication opportunities and offers creative solutions for training residents and helping them stay connected. \nSeniorNet programs are no cost to our members or their seniors; all they ask is that participants provide feedback to help in their research. \nSenior Net was founded in 1986 as a research project funded by the Markle Foundation to determine how computers and telecommunications could enhance the lives of older adults. The original non-profit organization has helped thousands of seniors in classrooms and learning centers around the world; now\, Senior Net also offers virtual access to the same learning\, forums\, and voice in technology. The organization has\, for example\, hosted trainings on how to crochet and also the basics of using Facebook and an iPhone.
