SUMMARY:By Design Conference - SFCS Connecting the Dots: Aspirations to Outcomes
DESCRIPTION:Bridging Housing + Health Services: How Property Management and Service Coordinator Teams Turn Signals into Real Healthcare Savings \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n November 12\, 2026 at 10 am \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Via Zoom \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Click Here To Register! \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n As HUD recently eliminated the longstanding requirement for emergency pull-cord systems in certain elderly housing properties\, many providers are evaluating alternative approaches to resident safety and support. In this webinar\, you’ll learn why many call-for-aid systems fall short and the practical\, low-cost steps that can make them more effective. We’ll explore how a connected system\, combined with a simple intake and virtual service coordination process\, can help identify early warning signs of isolation\, unmet needs\, and declining stability before they become crises. We’ll also discuss why this matters beyond resident well-being. The signals captured through these systems can help support partnerships with health plans\, healthcare providers\, and community organizations by demonstrating opportunities for care coordination and cost savings. This session will explore practical options that can enhance resident oversight while promoting independence and aging in place. You’ll leave with actionable strategies and tools to strengthen those connections\, support resident independence\, and help residents age in place successfully. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Education Presented By \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Eliot Arnold is the Managing Director at Safely.Living which implements connected health and safety infrastructure for federally subsidized senior housing\, including HUD Section 202 and USDA Rural Development properties. Safely.Living helps housing operators protect residents and reduce risk. Eliot started at the bedside\, working with Delmar Gardens in skilled nursing and assisted living. As part of this work\, he led a multi-year program sponsored by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services. He has published research with the Alzheimer’s Association on non-drug approaches to mood management for vulnerable older adults.  He previously founded Crunch Data\, which Qlik Technologies acquired in 2021. Eliot garnered extensive experience within Healthcare and Life Science serving customers such as UCSF Hospital\, Varian Medical\, Ball Corporation and other Fortune 1000 firms.  Eliot received a dual B.A. from Pitzer and Pomona Colleges in Claremont California.
