New Jersey was fortunate to have been part of CMS’ pilot for risk-based surveys. Join us on Aug. 19 at 10 am for a webinar with Assistant Commissioner Kimberly Hansen of the New Jersey Department of Health who will share lessons learned from the pilot\, important aspects of the risk-based survey implementation and how facilities that are not currently eligible to participate can become eligible. 								\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n					Speaker Information:				\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n																														\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n					Kimberly Hansen\, Assistant Commissioner\, Health Facilities\, Survey and Field Operations\, Department of Health				\n				\n				\n				\n									Kimberly Hansen serves as Assistant Commissioner\, Health Facilities\, Survey and Field Operations. HFS&FO inspects licensed or Medicaid-certified health facilities in New Jersey to ensure they meet standards of quality care and investigate complaints from the public. Prior to this role\, she served as the Program Manager of the Acute Care Program where she managed statewide survey operations for all non–long-term care facilities\, to ensure compliance with state licensure requirements and federal Medicare/Medicaid certification regulations. Kimberly also led the Acute Care complaints program\, which manages facility-reported events as well as complainant intake and triage\, and the division’s Training Team.   								\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n					Questions?
