Introductory Webinar to the LANJDE & HCANJ Workplace Violence and Active Shooter Response Program within Long Term Care Settings
We hope you will join this free virtual introductory meeting for LANJDE & HCANJ Members on December 21st, 2022 from 11:00am – noon.
Agenda:
- Describe actions to take when confronted with:
- An active shooter.
- Law enforcement officers who are responding to the situation.
- Recognize potential workplace violence indicators.
- Describe actions to take to prevent and prepare for potential active shooter incidents.
- Describe how to manage the consequences of an active shooter incident.
- Provide information to our member facilities on how they may participate in our three-part educational series to include basic awareness training for staff, our active shooter tabletop exercise and what to expect during the final phase of the program – out active shooter drill.
