IMPORTANT NOTICE
This year’s webinar will include information on two important subjects regarding Nursing Facilities:
1. CoreQ and QIPP (Session 1, 10:00am-10:45am) and
2. Early Warning System (Session 2, 10:50am-11:15am)
You may attend one or both sessions. Both sessions will be recorded and available to all participants on the Department of Human Service’s webpage post-webinar.
This webinar is intended for any facility, staff or vendor submitting CoreQ data to establish eligibility for the Quality Incentive Payment Program (NF QIPP). These mandatory program requirements include CoreQ Long Stay Survey Sample Size calculation, CoreQ vendor intent, and submission of CoreQ demographic information. The webinar will provide an overview of the CoreQ online form, how to access the Nursing Facility Portal, navigate the CoreQ screens, and how to enter and submit the facility data.

This webinar will unveil the new Early Warning System (EWS) NF-1 online form. It will provide an overview of how to access the Nursing Facility Portal, locate the EWS NF-1, and how to enter and submit the facility data. No new EWS fields will be introduced. The Division of Aging Services is continuing our efforts to streamline the NF-1 through increased automation, with reminder notices delivered if quarterly information is overdue. The current process of submitting the NF-1 via a provided link will no longer be accepted. The next NF-1 submissions are due December 15, 2025.
NOTE: If you do not have access to the Nursing Facility Portal, you will need to attend this webinar in order to learn how to gain access, have your email authorized and to set up the 2-step authentication. You must have access to a facility’s portal to submit their next quarterly EWS reporting due 12/15/2025.
