Target Audience: Assisted Living and Comprehensive Personal Care home executives and leadership team

Program Overview:

This seminar will focus on the involuntary discharge of assisted living residents. Two areas of focus will be the discharge for financial reasons and statutory, when the community can no longer provide the level of care required. It will cover the requirements for the discharge notice, interfacing with the Long Term Care Ombudsperson, the requirement of a safe discharge, and actions necessary to facilitate the discharge when there is a lack of cooperation.

Refunds will not be issued for missed or incomplete attendance.
