Town Hall & Lessons of Leadership

December 16, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Make your voice heard!

This event is free but registration is required. Please register here to secure your spot.

A vital part of LeadingAge national’s public policy formulation process is the Town Hall Conversation they hold with state partner associations like ours. At Town Hall events, LeadingAge national staff have the opportunity to hear directly from you, the members. Results of the town hall conversations are shared within LeadingAge and are used to set national public policy priorities to help better represent your interests and the interests of older adults in Washington, D.C.

At LANJDE’s 2020 Town Hall, we will hear from LeadingAge national’s policy experts on topics such as nursing homes, senior affordable housing, workforce, mental health & trauma and how the COVID-19 pandemic might shape our federal advocacy goals and efforts in the coming year.

This Town Hall Conversation is your opportunity to offer feedback to LeadingAge regarding ways federal public policy is affecting you, your staff and community, and the elders you serve, with a focus on how policy could be improved. Please join us for this important and exciting event!

To open the Town Hall event, we’re excited to be joined by LeadingAge Board Chair, Carol Silver Elliott, who will start us out with a conversation on Lessons of Leadership. Carol is one of the most dynamic leaders in aging services and we’re fortunate enough to have her on the LANJDE Board and working right here in our home state of New Jersey.

This segment of the Town Hall event will allow you time to reflect going into the holiday season on what the COVID pandemic has revealed about yourself, your team and leadership style. We promise you’ll be feeling proud of your accomplishments, curious about further opportunities for growth and fortified for the future.

Wednesday, December 16, 2020 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. via zoom.
