Join a vibrant community of aging services professionals as the regionally based LeadingAge Connecticut Leadership Academy welcomes emerging leaders from Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, and Rhode Island. Now entering its second year of expanded regional collaboration, the Academy offers a year of dynamic growth, connection, and transformative leadership development designed to elevate your impact and expand your potential.
Take Your Leadership to the Next Level
The Leadership Academy welcomes professionals in aging services who hold leadership or influential roles within their organizations and are ready to further develop their skills, broaden their impact, and contribute strategically to their teams. Fellows are expected to participate fully in all program activities, attend overnight sessions, and dedicate 10–15 hours per month to learning, reflection, and collaboration.

2026 Academy Dates & Application Info
Session 1: January 15–16
Session 2: March 26–27
Session 3: June 4–5
Session 4: September 24–25
Application Timeline:
Completed applications are due November 20, 2025. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by early December.
How to Apply:
Please submit the following with your application:
- Resume or brief description of work experience, education, and other relevant information (max 2 pages).
- Essay (max 750 words): Describe your commitment to aging services, your journey in the field, your vision for its future, and how this program would enhance your leadership.
- One professional letter of reference (reach out to your reference early to meet the deadline.
