Prerequisites: To maximize our time, participants should have a basic understanding of the Fair Housing Act, the protected classes, and what is prohibited; for a refresher in these subject areas, please read through or refer to FHEO’s webpage here. Please Note: Participants will receive a detailed certificate of attendance, which can be submitted to HUD towards meeting Fair Housing Training requirements.
Questions & Answers: Please submit any Fair Housing questions or concerns in advance of the meeting to dao@compassgroup.net by Friday, March 18th, 2022. If appropriate, the trainer may incorporate the example for use in class and also address the question or concern then. Trainer may not be able to address all questions during the sessions. For the purposes of the session we will not share the identity of the individual who submitted a question.

Speaker/Trainer: Leslie Tucker
Leslie is a partner with the Law Firm of Williams Edelstein Tucker, P.C., defending and providing consultation for housing providers nationwide in fair housing matters. She also provides clients with live training on fair housing, federal program, and landlord-tenant issues. Leslie also specializes in physical accessibility in multifamily housing, including local building codes as well as ADA and FHA requirements, and travels around the country performing inspections on new and existing properties. Leslie is a valuable consultant and adds her expertise FHI’s growing catalog of content. From articles, training videos, and courses, Leslie lends her unique experience and insight to breakdown these complicated issues to produce effective training results for leaders and members throughout the housing industry. Leslie Graduated from the University of Georgia and received her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she served on the Law Review’s Editorial Board. Leslie lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and two children.
