Introductory Webinar to the LANJDE & HCANJ Workplace Violence and Active Shooter Response Program within Long Term Care Settings

We hope you will join this free virtual introductory meeting for LANJDE & HCANJ Members on December 21^st, 2022 from 11:00am – noon.

Agenda:

Describe actions to take when confronted with:
- An active shooter.
- Law enforcement officers who are responding to the situation.
- Recognize potential workplace violence indicators.
Describe actions to take to prevent and prepare for potential active shooter incidents.
Describe how to manage the consequences of an active shooter incident.
Provide information to our member facilities on how they may participate in our three-part educational series to include basic awareness training for staff, our active shooter tabletop exercise and what to expect during the final phase of the program – out active shooter drill.
