Running criminal background checks as part of your tenant screening process? Have questions about New Jersey’s new Fair Chance in Housing Act (FCHA)? Elisabeth Ooka from National Tenant Network will provide an overview of the Fair Chance in Housing Act that went into effect on January 1, 2022. She will also review tenant screening procedures to help keep you in compliance with this new law. LeadingAge NJ & DE are able to offer attendees certificates of participation to submit to HUD for continuing education.
