This presentation will educate attendees on the return on investment in Wellness Programming. There are numerous benefits to providing a robust wellness program within your community – including, but not limited to, increased independence, decrease in falls and hospital stays, and continuity of care. Wellness programming is an additional cost to provide. Throughout this session, attendees will learn the return on investment in wellness programming and why it is beneficial to provide robust programming within your community.

CEU Information:

  • This program has been submitted but not yet approved for Continuing Education for 1.0 total participation hours by NAB/NCERS.
  • To receive continuing education credit for LeadingAge PA-sponsored webinars, attendees must register under their name, participate through the link supplied after registering and complete the evaluation after the webinar.

Speaker Bio:
Brittany Austin, MBA, National Director of Health and Wellness

Functional Pathways Brittany Austin, MBA, CPT, is the National Director of Health and Wellness for Functional Pathways. Brittany has her B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Missouri – Columbia and her Master’s in Business Administration from Webster University. She is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, and a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She also has her Leadership in Wellness Management Certificate through the International Council on Active Aging. She has been working in the health and wellness field since 2006 and has been working with the older adult population since 2014. She has extensive experience providing and developing wellness programming for Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care communities
