Assistant Executive Director/Administrator (LNHA) – Village Point

Village Point is seeking an experienced Administrator (LNHA) to join our team! Village Point is a Springpoint Senior Living skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Monroe Township, NJ. At Springpoint, the Administrator assists in the direction of the overall function of the ongoing community operations related to planning and development and works closely with the Executive Director to create long and short-range goals and objectives, as well as participates in administrative, financial, sales, human resources, residential, and safety initiatives throughout the community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning long and short-range objectives in concert with the strategic plan and the development of effective work schedules to meet goals and objectives.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the privacy incident response process.
- Continually seek new programs processes for revenue enhancement.
- Provide guidance to department managers in budget preparation, analysis and the adjustment process.
- Review all department monthly operating reports with department managers.
- Review contracted services for compliance and assurance of the highest level of satisfaction.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the community’s marketing plan.
- Ensure occupancy levels meet or exceed expectations.
- Guide the department manager or as assigned, the personnel management services which may include hiring, staff retention and termination.
- Monitor or as assigned ensure appropriate salary and wage administration which may include the collection, analysis and recommendations of the annual salary survey in the surrounding communities and competitive marketplace.
- Assist in the monitoring of resident services to ensure a greater level of customer satisfaction.
- Interact with residents on a personal and business level as appropriate.
- Guide department managers and staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed in the use and storage of equipment and supplies.
- Initiate routine inspections of the community to ensure that established policies and procedures have been implemented and followed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health administration, business administration or related field required.
- Current and valid Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing the daily operation of a Long-Term Care or similar facility.
