Monroe Village is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Services to join our team! Monroe Village is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Monroe Township, NJ. We are in search of an experienced Director of Clinical Services to join our team. At Springpoint, the Director of Clinical Services is responsible for carrying out the resident care policies established by this facility for the day-to-day operations of the Assisted Living and Clinic Departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for the direct delivery of Assisted Living nursing services.
  • Direct the daily operations of the Clinic, including emergency response in Independent Living, oversight of the practitioners providing service in the Clinic, and coordinating Personal Care Services for IL residents.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to oversee the employee health program, including new hire screenings, annual testing, management of employee injuries in the workplace, and management of employee medical records.
  • Oversee the community’s Infection Prevention Program.Conduct an assessment/health assessment on all new residents prior to or upon admission.
  • Periodically monitor and evaluate each resident’s physical and mental status for significant changes as per regulations and established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all residents have annual evaluations or physicals with physician certification as required per regulations and established policies and procedures.
  • Respond to all emergencies while onsite at the community; be available to receive communication 24 hours/day in the event of an emergency.
  • Ensure completion of a resident general service/health services plan based on the resident’s assessed needs.
  • Review and ensure completion of monthly wellness checks on all residents.
  • Monthly audits of MARs/TARs.
  • Review all incident reports and coordinate care as needed.
  • Conduct documentation audits as appropriate.
  • Serve as co-chair of the Resident Review Committee.
  • Conduct staff education and in-services on an annual and as-needed basis.
  • Conduct department meetings monthly and as needed with individual staff.

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid New Jersey RN licenseCPR certification2 years’ experience in assisted living, medical office, or long-term care setting
  • Must have at least 2 years supervisory experience
