Jenner’s Pond a Simpson Community has an Executive Director opportunity for our 88-acre Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in Southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. As a continuing care retirement community, we offer a range of services that meet the needs of all of our residents, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, Short- or Long-Term Nursing and Rehabilitation and Respite Care right on campus.
In this leadership role, the Executive Director is responsible for the financial, operational and strategic success of Jenner’s Pond, leading employees in meeting the organization’s quality standards and targeted financial measures, while adhering to operating policies and applicable regulations.
The Executive Director represents the community to residents and their families, employees, prospects, and the local business community. As Executive Director, you will be responsible for executing strategies and initiatives to consistently deliver results which are consistent with and advance the mission, core values and brand of the organization.
Requirements:
•A minimum of five (7) years’ experience managing a multi-department combined with long-term care business operation in a CCRC setting.
•BA or BS degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Executive Leadership or related field
•Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administrator’s license or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment.
•Pennsylvania Assisted Living Administrator’s Certification desirable.

•Ability to process information accurately, make appropriate decisions, and take appropriate action based upon the information available.
•Strong hospitality, customer service and interpersonal skills; with the ability to provide appropriate leadership and oversight to the campus. Relates well in a team atmosphere with campus staff and corporate leadership.
•Ability to work with confidential information and maintain its integrity.
•Assist department leaders in the execution of department performance. Ensure all policies and procedures are being met by department leaders.
•Serve as the campus representative with outside agencies including governmental agencies and third-party payers.
•Prepare the annual operating budget for the campus, monitor the performance of the facility in relation to budget, and intervene as needed.
