E4: Maxwell DISC Method – How to find a way to connect with others
Wednesday, June 17 | 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Target Audience: Affordable Senior Housing; Assisted Living/Personal Care; Governance & Leadership; Home Care + HCBS; Marketing; HR / Workforce
The Maxwell DISC Method presentation is a practical, leadership-focused introduction to DISC, an accessible framework for understanding human behavior and improving communication. This session orients participants to the core ideas of DISC and the Maxwell Leadership perspective: recognize patterns of behavior, adapt communication strategically, and build effective, trust-centered relationships. The deck sets clear expectations: you will learn to recognize the four primary DISC styles: Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S), and Compliance (C) – and apply concrete strategies to communicate with each style. Framed by Maxwell’s belief that connecting increases influence in every situation, the presentation is part education, part toolkit, aimed at helping professionals lead with clarity, empathy, and results.
