Preparing for a Successful Financial Audit at a HUD Property

Session Description: This session will discuss various steps and techniques an organization can employ to help improve all aspects of the annual audit process at a HUD funded property. Speakers will cover both the financial audit, and the HUD required compliance testing items for tenant files, Section 8 billing, and more.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how to improve the timeliness of the year-end audit process
  • Learn how to minimize compliance findings
  • Identify strategies to reduce audit adjustments
