Speaker Bios:

Lauren Novak, Senior Director, Sodexo Seniors

Lauren Novak is the Senior Director of Frontline Strategy at Sodexo’s Senior Segment, which focuses on talent attraction, recruitment, and retention of frontline employees, as well as advanced labor market data analytics. Her team is responsible for the successful HR mobilization of new business within the healthcare and senior living sectors. Lauren is passionate about continuous improvement, developing systems and processes, and driving positive change within organizations.

She holds a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of New Brunswick, a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business Management from Seneca College, and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo.

Reneé Drake Forte, Director of Human Resources Commercial Solutions, Sodexo Seniors

Reneé Drake Forte is the Director of Human Resources for Sodexo Seniors. She has over 20 years of experience in human resources across various industries, including senior living, healthcare, technology, and hospitality. Before joining Sodexo, Reneé served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Moorings Park Institute, where she led talent strategies for a workforce of over 1,000 employees. Additionally, she held the position of Director of Human Resources at Lifespace Communities.

Reneé holds an MBA and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR and SHRM-SCP). She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the International Coaching Federation. Furthermore, she has a certificate in Brain-Based Coaching from the NeuroLeadership Institute and is a certified DISC Analyst and Predictive Index Analyst.
