Partner, Grassi Healthcare Advisors, LLC
Jaime Rapps is a Partner at Grassi and brings nearly 15 years of audit, accounting and tax experience to his role. As a member of the firm’s Healthcare practice, he specializes in financial reporting, audits, reviews, compilations and tax work for healthcare clients. Jaime focuses on financial statement audits and advisory services for skilled nursing facilities and their ancillary companies, including landholding companies, staffing agencies, pharmacies and management companies. He has audited Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), hospices, assisted living and adult day care programs, and advised skilled nursing facilities on HUD and cost report audits. Jaime’s expertise extends to OMB Uniform Guidance (formerly A-133) compliance, pension plan audits and HUD compliance audits. He advises multifamily HUD housing projects on Section 8 and Section 202 compliance, as well as low-income housing tax credits. Jaime also conducts compliance audits for recipients of the Provider Relief Fund (PRF) and the Shuttered Venue Operating Grant (SVOG). Before joining Grassi, Jaime specialized in nonprofit and healthcare accounting, as well as tax and consulting services, at two mid-sized public accounting firms. Jaime is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYCPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). He received his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Yeshiva University.
Technology Consulting Partner, Grassi
Hassan Khan is a Technology Consulting Partner at Grassi, leading the Technology Advisory Practice. He has over 20 years of experience in technology accounting, operations and business process optimization, strategy and governance, risk analysis, offshoring, and enterprise intelligence, primarily focusing on the Nonprofit industry. Hassan’s practice areas include the implementation of technology risk management frameworks, development of tailored regulatory compliance frameworks focused on GDPR, CCPA, GLBA, PCI, HIPAA, FERPA, IT platform/systems/infrastructure review, product strategy and innovation, and IT due diligence and crisis management. Hassan also has extensive experience in IT cost reduction, insourcing and outsourcing analysis, vendor negotiation, and end-to-end IT transformation. Before joining Grassi, Hassan was a Managing Director at a national accounting firm. He worked with clients’ management, audit committees, and boards, providing independent, senior-level expertise that enabled executives to drive value from technology and improve business performance. Hassan is licensed in New York as a Certified Systems Auditor and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
