D5: Leveraging Technology to Maximize Resident Experience and Organizational Growth
Wednesday, June 17 | 2:15 PM - 3:15 PM
Target Audience: Service Coordinators; Marketing; Operations
In a time of change and transformation, what strategies are most effective to support organizational growth and resident autonomy? How do communities emphasize the importance of human interaction, yet leverage the scaling and automation technology brings for extensible, operational efficiency? The Vista (part of Christian Health), embarked on a journey to leverage engagement technology from community pre-sales through move-in into ongoing daily connection. The session will review the benefits, obstacles, and outcomes related to digital transformation and its impact both at the individual (resident) level, as well as the organizational changes needed. From responding to depositor focus groups early on through today’s daily campus experience, the community maintains very high levels of participation. We will review what guided organizational growth through effective evaluation and wellness outcomes for residents and community constituency groups. Insights using predictive analytics, ensuring data security, and understanding resident expectations will be addressed. The session will also highlight video commentary from staff and residents on how a growth mindset can literally guide personal and organizational growth. The audience will also hear how the long-awaited new campus delivered to meet today’s consumer expectations, particularly as it related to technology, housing, service delivery, and social connectedness. As a group, the session will also incorporate a participatory activity around personal well-being and technology. Ultimately, we will work to answer the question, Can technology positively impact resident anxiety due to good or mediocre communication? The audience will also have the opportunity to watch and participate in some of the latest Artificial Intelligence tools, cutting edge staff productivity hacks, and best practices for mapping social networks.
