Director of MLTSS and Contract Logistics, New Jersey Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services
Joseph Bongiovanni, Director of MLTSS and Contract Logistics for the New Jersey Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services. He began working there in 2011 and is currently overseeing the operation of the Managed Long Term Services and Supports Program as part New Jersey’s 1115 Medicaid Comprehensive Waiver. He has served as project director for the federal Money Follows the Person demonstration, managed operations for a 1915(c) HCBS waiver for persons with developmental disabilities, coordinated community supports and served developmentally disabled adults as a direct support professional.
Program Director, Managed Long Term Services and Supports, DMAHS
Dianna is a seasoned healthcare and human services professional with extensive experience in program management, policy development, and quality assurance. Dianna serves as the Director of Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) at the NJ Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services. Dianna leads a team of professionals in managing the administration of MLTSS, overseeing MCO performance, enforcing compliance measures, and ensuring quality services with the overarching goal of enhancing Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) for enrolled Medicaid beneficiaries.
Previously, Dianna held leadership roles with the Division of Developmental Disabilities and, most recently, the Division of Disability Services. Dianna’s career reflects a deep commitment to improving access to high quality services and shaping policies that promote equitable healthcare outcomes for individuals with disabilities and complex medical needs.
Dianna holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The College of New Jersey. She holds certification as a Chemical Dependency Associate and is a certified Community Resource Specialist (CRS) through Inform USA, formerly the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS).”
