The New Jersey Department of Health has approved a paid dining assistant curriculum for nursing homes that is compliant with CMS regulations for employing paid dining assistants. The webinar is designed as a train-the-trainer session for primary instructors who are registered nurses, as well as other members of the team (dietitians, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, etc.) who may be involved in training paid dining assistants. In orger to conduct a paid dining assistant program, the primary instructor must have completed a train-the-trainer session.
